Calling all ladies who have thrown a dart or who would like to have a go!

Institutes are invited to enter teams of 4 - 7 players for the Darts Tournament. As soon as the entry forms are returned Institutes will b eput into groups for the 1st round to be played between 31 August 2010 and 7th January 2011. The final will be held at the Amasal Club, St. Albans Road, Stafford in May.

After the interest expressed at the Spring Council Meeting dance lessons have been arranged. For just £3.00 come along to this half price introductory session led by tutor Daniel Bell. Includes tea or coffee.
Members will be able to enrol for a five week curse of dancing lessons. Cost £30.00

If you feel hot and bothered when you have to speak to a group of people then this is the course for you.

If you came and enjoyed the day of fun and laughter entitled 'Don't ask ME to speak!' then this is the follow on for you.

The content of the course will be focussed on building confidence through developing skills of relaxation and breathing to enhance the voice and improve delivery. We shall work together on the techniques for preparing a short talk, putting forward a proposal, reading aloud and several other items.

Please bring a packed lunch, a pencil & paper and a blanket or yoga mat.

Tea/coffee from 9.40 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and also during the day.

A fantastic Steel Band is booked and they will do a Limbo demonstration with a FUN Limbo competition with prizes. The venue will be decorated in a tropical theme with table decorations, bunting and lanterns. Raffle. Caribbean Presnetation.

Come and Enjoy Our Second Christmas Workshop

£16.00 which includes the cost of all materials for the 4 items to be made.

The morning session will be spent "Quilling with a difference" making a 2d card and and decoration. The tutor will be Barbara Beazley who will guide you through the process. Barbara was the Staffordshire representative of the International Quilling Guild and is extremely experienced in the craft.

The afternoon will be spent making 2 hanging decoration for your tree. Hosted by two of our committee members Pam Tayar and Margaret Copland. The decorations will be a fairy and a choirboy.

At the end of the day you will have 4 Christmas items to take home with you.

All you need to bring with you is a sewing kit, scissors, ruler, a cutting board or mat to work on.
Don't forget your packed lunch, drinks will be available.
