The Team is comprised of five WI Advisers and one WI Adviser Assistant and we usually meet on the second Tuesday of each month either online or at Federation Office.
All WI Advisers undergo training from NFWI.
Our overall remit is to provide support and advice to all WIs.
We put on training for officers in the WIs including Treasurers Workshops, IFE training and a president and secretary update annually.
We usually put on a meeting for a debate about resolutions once a year and we link in with Education and Public Affairs Team for this.
Freda Houldcroft Trophy
The Freda Houldcroft Trophy is presented annually.
This year’s trophy is presented to the WI who gained most new members during 2025/2026 so congratulations go to Acton Trussell WI who increased their membership by 44%.
